If you’ve spotted more kids and teens out and about today, you’re not imagining it, it’s Youth Day school holiday!
At SingMedical, we think every young person deserves to feel celebrated, not just today, but every single day they’re learning, growing, and discovering what makes them unique.
From shy toddlers peeking out behind Mum’s leg to big kids confidently telling us exactly where their “ouchie” is, caring for young patients has been one of the best parts of what we do.
Today, we’re shining a little spotlight on our next generation, our future doctors, artists, scientists, and maybe even the next viral YouTube stars (watch out, Mr Beast 😜)!

💡 Youth Day Health Reminders (Because Feeling Good Matters More Than Ever)
Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, or a proud big sibling, here are a few ways you can help the young people in your life stay healthy, happy, and ready to conquer the world:
Keep up with routine vaccinations
Did you know childhood vaccines don’t just protect your child, they protect the whole community? If you’ve been putting off your MMR or Tdap shots, this is your friendly nudge to schedule them.
Make sleep a priority
Growing brains and bodies need 9 to 12 hours of sleep, especially during school breaks. Yes, even if there’s a new gaming level to beat or TikToks to watch!
Fuel up with good food
More playtime means more energy needed. Aim for balanced meals (and yes, a treat or two is okay. After all, it’s a celebration).
Encourage movement
Whether it’s a dance-off in the living room, cycling at the park, or just chasing bubbles, movement fuels strong hearts and bright moods.
Look after their feelings
Being a kid today isn’t always easy. If your child seems worried, sad, or extra quiet, it’s OK to ask how they’re feeling. A little listening goes a long way.
Here’s to the big dreamers, the brave explorers, the future leaders, and the kids who remind us all to stay curious.
Happy Youth Day everyone!
